DocuSlim goes through a document and automatically processes your images allowing you to crop to fit your picture box (with specified "bleed"), resize and reimport images at 100%, resample to a target resolution, switch RGB to CMYK, unrotate images, and turn on/off LZW compression. All image processing is done automatically in the backgroungd by Adobe Photoshop® (5.0 or higher) so you never have to leave Quark. New versions of the images are then reimported with correct placement. DocuSlim is great for saving space on servers and speeding file emails as all your files will be smaller. DocuSlim can also speed print times dramatically as printers will not have to process overlarge or rotated images.
